AD 600 ANGLO-SAXON BRITAIN

The so-called Dark Ages was a time when our relationship with the patterns of the earth and her living ecosystems were the brightest…

…And a time when our heathen worship of nature came to an end and we lost our connection with the magic of the natural world.

The Shielding is an insight into understanding how we must navigate our appreciation of the world with which we live by returning to our cultural heritage rooted in the regional landscape.

“Shield the Earth in ages of darkness, for the Light sunders Nature’s brightness.” –Dark Earth Chronicles
